TUMBLING WATERS

Public BBQ

Tumbling Waters sits right on the Rubicon River, offering a scenic spot for families despite having no barbecue facilities. The shallow, fast-flowing water provides excellent paddling and swimming opportunities, though the temperature runs consistently cold year-round. Kids enjoy throwing rocks and building dams in the gentle current, but supervision is essential given the strong flow. A small playground and clean public toilets serve visitors, along with large rubbish bins. The location attracts fishers and makes a pleasant picnic stop. Tiger snakes have been spotted in nearby blackberry bushes, so caution is advised when exploring beyond the main area. While the park's natural setting and river access are appealing, the lack of cooking facilities limits its use for traditional barbecue outings.
